Watercolor on cold press paper.
Choices, an abstract series I’m reigniting with origins from my college days. The idea began as charcoal drawings, so this is the first attempt bring it to color. Watercolor is just very satisfying to me. I love seeing the colors blend and mix together freely.
Medium: Watercolor Paint on cold press paper.
Thoughts: Trying out different brush strokes and techniques to you create a more abstract portrait. I had a good time making this one, and I might like it better than using inks to reveal all the fine details. It felt more freeing and I was less worried about making it perfect.
